Book a Student Massage
The supervised student clinics at Vicars are an essential part of our students’ training and we can’t run them without you!
About our Supervised Student Clinics
Booking your next massage at our Edmonton or Calgary Student clinic is such a good idea that most of our clients are regulars, and we hope you will become one, too. Our appointment includes an assessment, a one-hour massage, and a short home-care and remedial exercise consultation. It’s a great experience, and a bargain, too—each massage is only $40.
Your massage therapist will be a Vicars student. There is a trained supervisor at every clinic, and they may be present for part of your massage to offer feedback to your student therapist. We do our best to accommodate requests for specific therapists, but we cannot always guarantee that the student you book with online will be your therapist. Thank you for your understanding.
We’re happy to offer a receipt, but please note that your insurance company may not cover student treatments.
Preparing for your first appointment
Please arrive 10 minutes early
Fill out forms
At your first appointment (or if it’s been a long time since you were here last), we’ll need you to fill out a couple of forms before your massage.
You can fill them in when you arrive, or you can download the documents, print them out, complete them at home, and bring them with you to your appointment.
The products that our massage therapists use will wash out and are safe for most fabrics, but we can’t guarantee that they won’t mark your clothes. Please dress accordingly!
How to book a massage appointment
To book your massage, please click on one of the buttons below. These links will take you to our online booking system, where you can follow the simple instructions to book, change, or cancel an appointment. Our online booking system works on phones, tablets, and computers.
If this is your first appointment, you’ll be asked to create a free online account.
Our students are counting on you: late arrivals, last-minute cancellations, and no-shows hurt their academic progress. Please do your best to arrive on time, and give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change your appointment.
Having trouble booking?
You can reach our Calgary clinic at 403-930-6064 and our Edmonton clinic at 587-635-0491.
These phones are only answered (and voicemails checked) during clinic hours. We recommend that you use the phone only for urgent messages during clinic hours, and use the online booking system for booking, cancelling, or changing appointments.
Having an online booking system instead of a full-time receptionist is one of the reasons that we’re able to keep our clinic prices low. Thank you for your understanding.

Special Conditions Clinic
In addition to our standard public clinics, our second-year students host special in-class teaching clinics, called “special conditions clinics.” These appointments are free, but they are only available to clients with certain specific medical conditions. Community Collaboration
We know it’s important for our students to learn the value of professional collaboration with their peers in other health-care occupations. We want to encourage this by offering complimentary massage appointments to practitioners from different professions, including nurses, physiotherapists, chiropractors, dental hygienists, osteopaths, social workers, and occupational therapists.
Our goal is to create connections within our health care community and to have seasoned practitioners provide insight to our students about how massage therapy complements their practice or profession.
