Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Fort
Saskatchewan wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of
anatomy, sports and general population presentations, massage techniques and tools, and an
outstanding commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
● Build rapport with community, teammates, and patients.
● Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate treatment plans based on their health
history and preferences.
● Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and
therapeutic massages.
● Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are
properly sanitized.
● Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide guidance
on post-treatment care. Keen understanding of contraindications to treatment, and be
able to communicate this effectively to the client.
● Keep accurate records of client treatments, informed consent, preferences, and any
relevant medical history.
● Stay current with professional association and massage therapy techniques and
practices.
● Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel welcomed and valued during
their visits.
● Build relationships with clients and community to become a long term care provider.

Experience
● Assets include proven experience as a Massage Therapist and an in athletic
environment
● Teamwork skills to foster positive relationships with clients and teammates, to enhance
overall client experience.
● Excellent communication skills to convey treatment plans clearly and address any client
inquiries or concerns.
