Sharyn Sample
INSTRUCTOR, EDMONTON
When rugby player Sharyn Sample was ready for a career off the field, massage therapy made sense. Rugby at an elite level is hard on the body, and she had learned the value of massage therapy firsthand. A 2009 Vicars grad, she developed her sports massage career here and in New Zealand.Â
Sharyn returned to Edmonton in 2012 and works as part of a multidisciplinary team at Evolve Strength. She started instructing after several years at Vicars as a valued clinic supervisor. Working internationally made her appreciate what Vicars and other accredited programs offer: in both Britain and NZ, she stood out for her assessment and treatment skills.Â
Sharyn is active in club play with the Edmonton Clansmen and represents Canada internationally as a member of the Canada Classics team of players from across Canada.
